In a room full of communicators, we are the energisers. After a public speaking engagement or successful facilitation of a communications initiative, I often get asked “Where do you get all this energy?”

I’ve made it my life’s assignment to find the answer to the energy question but some clues come from a tale that my mother often shares with strangers about 2-year-old me. She says by that age I was already speaking fluently and I enjoyed entertaining visitors with new information I had just learned about the world, or on-the-spot, fun-toddler-facts.

I suppose it’s deeply intertwined with purpose. This energy for engaging audiences, co-creating solutions, communicating and getting a message across effectively has been my heartbeat for many years and in 2018 I decided to multiply the effect through Speakingdom (Pty) Ltd and our services.
