Speakingdom (Pty) Ltd, founded and registered in 2018 by Mahlodi Kgatle, hailing from Tembisa in pursuit of excellence through leadership and communication. Beyond the horizon of our profit-generating services, our township upbringing has exposed us to a plethora of challenges and opportunities which inspire us to curate communication development programmes for marginalised communities across Africa, particularly for women and youth.

Mahlodi Kgatle

Founder and CEO

When you mix a heart for social impact, a mind for solutions and a soul for public speaking, you get Mahlodi Kgatle. A servant leader who was selected alongside 100 young leaders throughout the SADC region to participate in the Obama Young African Leaders Initiative. In the same year, she was 1 of 30 fellows to join the ASRI Future Leaders Fellowship Program, which focuses on the social development of communities across SA by igniting active citizenship in youth. She was also the President of the Golden Key International Honour Society (University of Pretoria Chapter), which recognises the top 15% of academic achievers from tertiary institutions worldwide.

She has 7 years of corporate Marketing experience and now hopes to use her education to co-create a heightened sense of civic duty in Africa.
Mahlodi is also a decorated public speaker with accolades, such as the ATKV Speaking Festival National Winner.

SelokelaMolamodi

Head of Programmes

Selokela holds many public speaking awards, including the 2016 Ekurhuleni Annual Public Speaking Competition Winner. Her fervour for activism was ignited in her teenage years when she served as Deputy head of Armour Foundation Learning Institute.
She has since led many community initiatives, championing social justice and human rights while encouraging the youth to be active citizens and establish their voices in society.
Her voice is no stranger to campaign marketing material because she is also an experienced voice-over artist.
She has extensive broadcast media experience shaped by her early podcasting days and now radio presenting. She is the current breakfast show host of HopeAlive Radio.
